The profits obtained from prosperous textile mills opened up practically unlimited possibilities for their owners. The city residences became expressions of the riches and power of the local tycoons. Public transport in Lodz

Monthly ticket in Lodz - reverse Public transport is based on tram and bus connections. The main transport company is Miejskie Przedsiebiorstwo Komunikacyjne Lodz - Sp. z o.o. (Municipal Transport Services - Lodz, Co. Ltd.). It has at its disposal 519 trams, 406 buses and 13 minibuses which are adapted to transporting handicapped people. It is relatively cheap and safe, but on time and can take you nearly to every point within the city.
