Polish Culture was involved in the following events:

Tamworth's Community EventTamworth Community Event on 22nd November 2008

"The aim of the event is to strengthen community linksTamworth and help reduce crime by putting residents first by promoting respect and celebrating cultural diversity through community interaction" (Press release) 

Justyna Staszek talked about Polish customs and celebrations around Christmas time. Everyone listened to Polish Christmas carol and had a chance to taste typical Polish Christmas dishes and learn more about Polish cuisine.



Talk for  Dings Community Association on 15 October 2008

A brief talk of about Poland, the culture, and living locally, with a quiz about Poland and Community at HeartPolish cuisine taster session.


Dings Multicultural Feast on 29th March 2008
Polish cuisine and talk about culture.
"People living in the Dings enjoyed food from around the world on 29 March at a multicultural feast organised by the local community. Volunteers from the Dings Community Association and Community at Heart’s Tackling Racism team organised the feast to celebrate the diversity of the area and to bring people together for a day of food, fun and entertainment."
