The grand opening of the ms2 – the new Muzeum’s spaces on the grounds of Manufaktura will be held on 20th-22nd of November 2008. After years of waiting filled with attempts of subsequent directors, the exceptional collection of 20th and 21st century art will be displayed in the conditions that correspond to its significance and value. It will also be possible to develop Muzeum's activity in terms of responding to the challenges which museum institutions are facing contemporarily. One of the most unique collections of art in Europe, entitled Collection of 20th and 21st Century Art, will be presented from a new perspective, in unconventional way and in much larger scale than in the previuos buiding. Moreover the international temporal exhibition confronting works of two significant avant-garde artists – Katarzyna Kobro and Lygia Clark – will be opened. The schedule includes also a range of other events.
