Malbork CastleThere are over 100 castles in Poland. The most remarkable castles were build by Teutonic Knights and are situated in the North-East part of Poland. Malbork Castle is the largest surviving medieval castle in Europe.
Other worth visiting castles built by Teutonic Knights are in Lidzbark Warminski and Kwidzyn.

Wawel Castle Wawel in Krakow and later Royal Castle in Warsaw are the most important castles as they were the residences of the kings and symbols of power.
Castles between Czestochowa and Krakow were part of a great Eagles' Nests fortification system and were mostly built in the Middle Ages and ruined during the Swedish Deluge of the 1650s.
Ruins of Bolkow castleCastle lovers will seek out beautiful ruins of castles in Olsztyn, Mirow, Ogrodzieniec, Bolków, Bobolice. Pieskowa Skala is the only one well-preserved castle from the whole Eagles' Nest  fortification system.
Castle in Ksiaz (Książ) by Ewinka CelinkaAnyone interested in castles should visit castles in Baranow Sandomierski, Ksiaz, Niedzica, Goluchow and ruined castle in Krzysztopor in Ujazd village.
